These charts show body measurements in inches — the measurement of the wearer, not the finished garment. Use them to build the size breakdown for a bulk order. Because every Wearzo order is manufactured to specification, we produce to your actual size distribution rather than a fixed stock run, so the whole team is fitted rather than approximated.
Body Measurement, Not Garment Measurement
Every figure below is a body measurement: measure the wearer, then choose the size whose body measurement matches. Garment dimensions include ease and finishing and will read larger — do not compare a tape laid across a finished garment against these numbers. For an institutional order, share a size-wise breakdown (how many of each size) and we manufacture to it. If you have an existing garment that fits well, send it as a reference and we can work from it.

All figures in inches, body measurement. Chest is measured around the fullest part, under the arms.
Kids Tops
Kids sizing is graded and priced as a separate tier. The boundary is a 32-inch chest: at or below 32", a garment is graded and quoted as kids; above it, as adult. We state this because it affects fabric consumption and therefore the quotation, and institutional buyers plan grade-wise around it. Ages are indicative only — institutional orders are measured, never age-guessed.

Trousers, Scrub Pants & Chef Trousers
Bottoms are graded to waist, with inseam and rise options:
- Waist — 26 to 46 inches, in 2-inch steps (body waist).
- Inseam — 28, 30, 32 or 34 inches.
- Rise — mid or regular.
- School trousers — an adjustable waist (elastic + button tab) is available as an add-on rather than a separate size.
Skirts & Pinafores
Skirts and pinafores are graded to waist, with length set to the institution's requirement:
- Waist — 22 to 38 inches, in 2-inch steps.
- Length — graded to your institution's standard; confirmed per order rather than fixed here.

Are these garment measurements or body measurements?

Do I have to use standard sizes for a bulk order?
No. You tell us how many of each size you need across the group, and we manufacture to that distribution so the whole team is fitted. Non-standard requirements can be accommodated against measurements or an approved reference garment.
Can school trousers have an adjustable waist?
Yes. Specify it with your requirement and it is included in the quotation. Waist grading otherwise runs from 26 to 46 inches in 2-inch steps, with inseam options of 28 to 34 inches.
