The Front-of-House Look

Service Shirts & Waistcoats — construction detail

Front-of-house staff are the face of a restaurant or hotel, so their shirt has to stay crisp from the first cover to the last and the whole team has to look like one brand. Wearzo makes the service shirt in an easy-care poly-cotton poplin that resists creasing and holds its colour through a long, warm shift with minimal ironing. A matching waistcoat lifts the look to something more formal for fine dining, banqueting, reception and bar teams, and gives another surface for the brand.

Fabric & Construction

Easy-Care Poplin & a Structured Waistcoat

Poly-cotton poplin shirting fabric close-up — around 120 GSM

The service shirt is a plain-weave poly-cotton poplin with an easy-care finish, so it stays neat through a shift without constant pressing — important for a garment on show all evening. The waistcoat is cut from a poly-viscose or poly-wool suiting for a structured, formal finish that coordinates with the shirt.

Detail

Colour, branding, sizing and pricing

Can the waistcoat match the shirt and the venue's colours?

Service shirts are usually white or black with a coordinated waistcoat. Some shades are fabric-dependent and confirmed per order.

Can you supply ties, bow ties and name badges too?

The venue logo is embroidered on the shirt chest or the waistcoat on our own floor , matched to your approved artwork and held on record so the whole team matches and reorders stay consistent.

Why are prices not listed on this page?

Pricing is quoted, not listed. Whether a waistcoat is included, sleeve, ties, logo work, size mix and order quantity each change the cost, so a single listed price would mislead.

How are service shirts and waistcoats sized?

Both are graded to chest, adult XS to 4XL, and ordered to a size-wise breakdown across the team. Run a measurement drive with a sizing set and share the counts; the size charts page shows how we work from body measurements.
