Trousers Built to Survive a School Year
School trousers take a beating — playgrounds, benches, daily washing — so the fabric has to be hard-wearing and hold a neat line.
A growing child gets more wear from the optional adjustable waist. Wearzo makes them in a twill weave, which is diagonal and denser than a plain weave and stands up to that wear. The poly-viscose suiting is crease-resistant and keeps a pressed look through the day with minimal ironing — the usual choice for a tidy uniform.
Twill Suiting, 215–250 GSM
Twill's diagonal weave gives the fabric its strength and its characteristic drape. Poly-viscose suiting is a 2/2 twill with crease recovery; the cotton option is a firmer 3/1 twill, enzyme-washed to take the stiffness off. Both weights sit in the standard school-trouser range, published as a range and confirmed on your approved sample.

School trousers are usually ordered in grey, navy or black. Some shades are fabric-dependent and confirmed per order.
The Adjustable Waist
Children grow mid-year, and a fixed-waist trouser can be outgrown before the session ends. It is added as an option rather than a separate size, so you can specify it for the younger grades and fixed waists for the seniors.
