Doctor's Lab Coats

Wearzo manufactures doctor's lab coats to order in a poly-cotton poplin finished optical white and bleach-stable — a crisp clinical white that survives the bleaching and hot laundry a hospital coat is put through, without yellowing or greying. Pricing is quoted against your specification.

The Clinical White Coat

Doctor's Lab Coats — construction detail

A doctor's coat is a white garment in a setting that bleaches everything, so its whole job is to stay crisply white without yellowing, greying or thinning through relentless clinical laundry. The coat is single-breasted with the pocket layout a clinician needs — chest pocket, lower patch pockets, pen slots — and comes in full length for physicians or a shorter knee length. Name, department and hospital logo are embroidered on our own floor so a whole team is identified consistently.

Fabric & Construction

Bleach-Stable Poplin, 130–155 GSM

Poly-cotton poplin fabric close-up — around 140 GSM

A poly-cotton poplin is smooth, presses crisp and carries an optical-white, bleach-stable finish that resists the yellowing and greying a plain white develops under clinical laundry. The polyester content adds strength and shape retention so the coat stays neat wash after wash.

Detail

Colour, branding, sizing and pricing

Can we add a coloured trim to indicate seniority or department?

Lab coats are almost always optical white — the clinical standard — and that is our default finish. Where a hospital colour-codes seniority or department, a coloured collar, cuff or piping trim can be added in a role colour while the body stays white.

Can you embroider doctors' names and departments?

A lab coat is usually personalised: the clinician's name and department embroidered above the chest pocket, with the hospital logo or crest alongside. Send your name list, department scheme and logo, and we set them out on the sample.

Why are prices not listed on this page?

Pricing is quoted, not listed. Length, pocket layout, name personalisation, size mix and order quantity each change the cost, so a single listed price would mislead.

How are lab coats sized?

Lab coats are graded to chest, adult XS to 4XL, and worn over other clothing, so many hospitals order slightly roomy for layering — we can advise. Because production is made to order, we manufacture to your size-wise headcount rather than a fixed stock run.
